The Small Block 8 is the perfect tire for daily commuting on pavement and also works great on dry single tracks. The 2.10 tires width along with tubes fit my DT Swiss 30mm wide rims without any issues. The 2.10 tires are very stable with solid corning support even when with sustained downhill speeds of 40+ mph. The Small Block 8 is a good choice when you ride pavement 50% of the time and you don’t want to ride MTB 2.4 knobbies.
