I have a tallish (size 62) touring bike with canti brakes and most racks didn't fit because the seat stays are too vertical so that the rack eyelets on the seat stays are too close to the rack when the rack is level. The extender flanges at the bottom of this rack, while intended for disc brake bikes, move the rack backward. This solved my attachment problem and also gives exceptional heel clearance. Considering its low price, the rack is pretty nice. Bikesmiths delivered the rack in just a few days, which was also nice.
