I ride fixed gear with no brakes and every one knows brake less fixed gear skidding is your best friend. Id get a flat at least once a week. With these I’ve been riding for almost a month now and haven’t gotten a flat yet. Granted, I do have slime in my tubes. Which I also did with a regular comp thick slick and would still get flat. These are double thickness than a regular thick slick. I did struggle to mount them on my wheel because they’re so thick and stiff. Now, for the bad part of these tires is that although they’re thicker, they’re also thinner. They’re thicker frm the inside of the tire facing the tube. These “28” are “25”. They even measure 25mm and look exactly the same as my 25c on a different set of wheels. I was disappointed because of this since I loved how the 28c thick slick was a hair from touching my frame in front and rear and was fitted really good. These “28” tires have a gap now because they’re not actually 28. If you already ride 25c tires then get a 28. I can only imagine that a 25c will be a 23?
