The gum wall sidewalls are quite attractive, and add a classic look. The colored tread had me worried that it might not have the same adhesion as a black tread, but it feels identical. The 85 psi rating gives the tires extremely low resistance, and the tread pattern is adequate for wet roads, without compromising rolling resistance. All in all, an excellent tire. The excess mold flash was a minor inconvenience, requiring an hour of snipping with a nail clipper to remove it all. It was ugly, and in theory the flash would add to air resistance and rolling resistance (not measurable, of course - I'm just a perfectionist.)
