Kenda black wire bead tire for 597 ISO sizing (on sidewall of tire). This is most commonly used for Schwinn S-6 rims. But not used on Schwinns from the 1980s. Always double check.

Fits older Schwinn bikes with 26x1-3/8"x 1-1/4" tires. This is different than 27-inch and modern 26-inch tires. Double check ISO size before purchase (check your tire sidewall for size).

Hi. Im looking at your listing for the Kenda K23 26 x 1-1/4" x 1-3/8" ISO 37-597 S-6 Schwinn Tire. My current tire reads 26 x 1 1/4 (32-597). Do you know if this tire fits ? Or do you sell one that does ? Thank you
If your current tires are marked 32-597, these tires will be the correct 597 rim size. The the 37mm width will be 5mm wider than your current 32mm tires. If your frame and fork have clearance for 5mm wider tires, the Kenda K23 tire will fit.

I have a 1982 vintage Schwinn LaTour. The rims are stamped with “UKAIRIM27x1 1/4”. The original tires say “27x1 1/4 S6 or K2 RIM 85 lbs”. What size tires and tubes should I order? Thank you!
For a bike with 27x1-1/4 tires I would recommend Kenda K35 27x1-1/4 tires.

I have a Raleigh with tires 44-599 (26x1.6). I found a regular 26" replacement Schwinn tire doesn't fit. Will this tire? Or will any other that you sell? Converting 599 mm to inches is 23.5. Will a 24" tire work? I know and understand this is a very rare size. thank you
In this case, no modern ISO will fit. ISO 597 is very close and may be able to lever on. But you risk damage if the bead is too tight. We can not advise this, but you may have no other option. 24-inch ISOs 507 or 540 will be way too small.
