I have a Haro2. I pulled the seatpost and it says 30.9mm. Which collar clamp size should I be purchasing? 29.8mm or 31.8mm? Neither size is exact fit. I was thinking 29.8mm and stretch it open a bit? I don't know if that is possible.
The key measurement is the frame’s outside seat tube diameter. Depending on the constitution and material, the thickness of the seat tube can differ from frame to frame. Even frames with the same seatpost, may have different seat tube clamp. A seatpost fits inside a seat tube. The seatpost size is going to be smaller than the diameter needed for this clamp to fit over your seat tube.
