In the past I've owned this exact tool, and used it with great success of brake adjustments on center pull brakes, specifically on Weinmann brakes on a 1970's Schwinn Super Sport road bike with 27 x 1-1/4 tires. I always used it in conjunction with a Third Hand Tool Bike Brake Adjuster. Using these 2 tools made it super easy to adjust brakes by myself, and not requiring a second person to help, which I had to do BEFORE owning these 2 tools. I heartily recommend The Bikesmiths store.
